Immersion killing cut-scenes. How do I stop them?

Possible solution:

Evert time Skyrim is started,

Enter Console

Type:

set killmove to 0

hit enter

exit console

I have been playing Skyrim A LOT lately(150+ hrs the last 2 weeks alone),

and have several level 81+ characters that I am doing more run throughs

with since the dragonborn DLC released.

My issue is that now with high skilled, high perked characters, I am getting

the kill-move cut-scenes almost every time I kill something.

Here are my questions:

Is it possible to completely turn off the kill-moves and/or cut-scenes without adding a mod? ... if so, how?

Can it be done through the use of the console commands? ... If so, how?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are several mods that will disable kill moves. A few allow you to reduce the occurrence without removing them completely.

Since it sounds like you don't want them at all, the most basic one I know of is No Kill Moves by JustinOther. It adds a skull into your inventory that when used allows you to enable or disable kill moves.

You could also considerKillmove Control by MrDomino. It adds a book that allows you to disable or enable kill moves and select how often they occur if you enable them.

The best one in my opinion, and the less immersion breaking since it doesn't add an item to your inventory is The Dance of Death - A Killmove Mod by DaedalusAI. It requires you have SKSE and SkyUI but gives you an incredible ammount of control over when they can happen, how often, and what types are used.

Those are a few options I've personally used in the past.

I want to do it without adding any more mods. But thank you for your input.
