Sophic
Hey! I have been modding some swords and stuff, but with my new model I do have some problems with. The model has a triangular shape, and that has given me a texture related problem. The texture is not placed correctly. The texture is attached to this topic, also attached is two screenshots taken in-game. Thank you beforehand for all help. InfinityXeon
Why not just adjust the textures until they fit correctly?
Sophic
Why not just adjust the textures until they fit correctly?I'm kind of new to texturing for Skyrim, so I don't know how to move the texture to make it fit.
InfinityXeon
It's quite simple. You simply analyze the texture as it appears on your model, then you reposition it appropriately on the file. It's really Trial and Error though. It may take a while. You can try waiting to see if anybody has a less manual solution.

Thou, as you can see, the texture is four ''squares''. And in Skyrim, it's just one whole texture. Don't really know how to explain this, but yea... InfinityXeon
I understand. Are the textures all mashing together/clipping? I can't make out what anything is. If so, try making your model multiple parts, and then asign each part their corresponding texture.
Sophic
Yea, you could say they're mashing together. I can try to make the texture in Mudbox from Autodesk, and see if that helps. I know there's a problem with the texture mapping thou.
InfinityXeon
If that doen't work, you can always try, as I said, splitting the model into multiple parts, then assigning each texture to it's individual part.
Sophic
I did try to retexture the model in Autodesk Mudbox, but it didn't work...
