Ethxxn
Not sure what causes this, I thought I patched it thoroughly enough with FNV edit It happened after I updated Asura's animation pack I tried installing MCTF but NVSE kept launching my fallout launcher. I tried MCTF because of I kept getting a memory error from NVAC, just to realize it was a corrupted save file. Why haven't I seen other guided mentioning never reloading saves without closing the game (rule 4).
dubiousintent
Why haven't I seen other guided mentioning never reloading saves without closing the game (rule 4). loadorder.txtThe "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article does. Most "guides" are written by enthusiastic players with little understanding of the technical aspects behind the game behavior. Once they get things working on their own platform and system, they assume it will automatically apply to everyone else. If only the computer world were that simple. Nobody (including the majors like M$) has the resources to test against all the possible permutations of hardware and software people employ. Which is why they have "alpha and beta tests" and early game releases are still full of bugs. It pays to examine the track record and credentials of any guide author (including myself; I've been out of the business for 10 years now which is why I confine myself to "old stuff"). -Dubious- Edited January 10, 2021 by dubiousintent
