maxarturo
Keep in mind that: Once an object starts moving by using any of the "Translate" functions, that object will STOP USING any light source that hits it, the ONLY light that a "Translated" object can use is that of the "Lighting Template". The 'Translated Movable Static' can use light sources once again when the translation has finish and the object gets Disable/Enable or Unload/Load or Detach/Attach. dafydd99
Managed to get a light working on a translateable item - easier than I thought, just make the form a 'light'. 'Lights' references are translateable and can contain animation. I now have a animated row boat (rocks back and forth) that is translateable that contains a single light source. I took the rowboatanim nif and added light details taken from the torch nif.
maxarturo
Yeap, this will work for a set up like yours and there is an in-game example within the DLC2 lights, but not if you have an object that is 'No Light' and it needs to go through dark and light areas, here things are a little more tricky... Have a happy modding.
