keithbk
Most of us who play Skyrim play with weather mods like Frostfall, camping mods, etc. These mods take into account the relative "warmth" certain armors provide. And most people who play know that Dragonbone/Dragonplate armors do not provide the most warmth for cold climates. Oddly, I have never located a mod that allows you to add fur lining to an armor, which would be the typical real-world step for colder climates. Realistically, you should be able to take any armor and add a fur inner layer, resulting in a warmer armor. It would simply be a matter of improving the armor at a crafting station. In vanilla, you add another bone, scale, ingot, etc to improve the armor's defensive capability, so why shouldn't you be able to add a pelt to improve it's warmth value? If I have missed a mod that performs this function, please let me know!
