SpeedyB64
When you copied the helmet did you also copy the .egm file? (If it has one)
seryder
When you copied the helmet did you also copy the .egm file? (If it has one) I dont know about the other person but all I did was double click on the it to get properties from the ID window, change the name of the helmet and the ID then click yes to creating a new ID for it so i could use it as my own version. ive done this with many other things in the game but it dosent seem to work for the helmet. SpeedyB64
This has been happening to a few people. I have no idea why. Some things seem to work and others don't I had this problem with my Aviator glasses so I opened them in nifskope and rotated them and that seemed to work, it has something to do with the stretching to fit the head property (I'm pretty sure it is controlled by the .egm file)

lagermonkey
I had this problem with a load of hats. In the geck if you go into the character menu at the top and go down and click on "update facegen model availabilty" that should see it right. You can then put the hat in an npc's inventory in the geck and see if it has fixed it.
