Burnout122812
I just installed Realistic Needs and Diseases but didn't activate it (I have never had this problem before installing the mod) but don't know if this is a problem with a mod or the game. I also did not notice that my skills were stuck in red (after I tried Smithing and noticed that I was not at the level I should be when improving armor). I don't know if this is the mod cause I started a whole new game (just to see) and everything was back to normal. I do not know if this is a mod problem or a game problem...all I know is that it is a sucky problem. Character is not tired, hungry or sleepy. No diseases or debuffs to put any of my skills in the red. I tried eating, waiting, closing the game and restarting it.I had another issue with my skills a few days back that resulted in me having to start over also. A few of my skills were not leveling up and we're stuck. Could it be the Race Mod "Lunari" i'm using? Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod? Character Creation Overhaul (this would be the mod that gives my skills issues since it messes with skills) or maybe conflicts with the "Race Menu" mod? Has anyone had these issues before?I have no idea what to do...i'm at my wits end.http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss114/majikku22/ScreenShot4_zps5d32dcda.jpg Edited March 26, 2013 by majikku22
DeltaAgent26
Try taking a cure disease potion in game, or go to a (god) shrine and cure yourself. Before you do that though, go to your magic (left side of the screen) menu andselect "active effects" and see if any items are in red there. If so you need to do the above. Burnout122812
I did all that. TWICE! Cure disease potion. Activated shrines. No debuff effects are active...nothing is showing up in the magic menu that signifies that my character is suffering any ill. The skills are in the red and frozen. Period. I've tried everything. And when I say everything...I mean EVERYTHING! I removed the Character Creation Overhaul mod. It seems that is the only mod that messes with skills that I have installed and it might be conflicting with another mod. Let's see if that works (i'm 95% sure that's what it is). ripple
When you uninstall mods like RND (and other 'needs' mods), you need to properly halt the running script using the MCM menu or the sugar ball inventory object. Not doing that will cause the running scripts to leave orphan junk in your savegame that causes stuff like this. This is likely what happened. Try resetting your character status in RND's MCM menu (there is a option to disable the mod and cure all RND effects). It might work, it might not. If it doesn't, then the only thing you can do to remedy the issue is to start a new game. Edited March 26, 2013 by ripple
Burnout122812
Yea I did that too. Reset RND in MCM and even did a clean save. Skills were still in the red. I did start a new game cause I saw no fix in sight. Next time I will definitely have to pay attention more to what I was doing with RND. Thanks for the advice ripple. dvda1987
You can type player.getavinfo <skill> to see some info about the skill. It will show base value as well if it is damaged. After searching one half day to find a solution I finaly went through the console commands and found this. Then when you know how much your skill is damaged, say -33 you can type player.modav <skill> 33 to get it back to normal.
