Trying to increase my Render/Draw Distance through the ini files... Help.

I have been screwing with the ini files and cannot for the life of me increase my draw distance. I am running mods but from what i understand none of them control this except maybe DynDOLOD... but DynDOLOD controls LOD... i am looking for things fully rendered at at least double to tripple distance.

ATM i have about 20GB worth of graphical overhauls... mainly 4k textures along side of SMIM and of course dyndolod with a custom bigger trees 3d LOD.

Everything looks absolutely amazing! I still have "PLENTY" of resources left on my PC and i cannot for the life of me get grass, rocks, bushes and ground textures to be fully rendered in further away.

The ini setting you are looking for would be uGridsToLoad. Before you do anything with it, please make sure you totally understand what you are doing here. Take the time and read everything about it in advance. Also check uExteriorCellBuffer and iPreloadSizeLimit if these aren't mentioned in the articles you find when searching for uGridsToLoad.

I do not recommend raising uGridsToLoad for 2 reasons: This will eat up your PC resources quickly and - maybe the biggest issue for me - events you trigger in the gameworld by approaching a certain spot will now start from much farther away, long before you arrive at the scene. This could lead to screwing up quests.
