CTD when loading a save

I'm having a perplexing issue with my Skyrim game. I did a clean install of the game, used TES5edit to clean every single plugin. Ran Boss. Made a Merge and then made a bash patch. I'm also using the base ENB config.(Have tried this with and without ENB and have the same issue, so don't think the problem is there.) When playing the game I'm having a beautiful stable experience. Everything looks great, haven't run into any issues as of yet. I can start a new game and play to my hearts content. Until I have to save. The save process goes fine, but when I want to play again I have CTD's after selecting continue or loading from the the main menu. Here's my Mod list and a Copy of my INI file. Perhaps one of you can point me to an area I may have overlooked.

Have you try to load the previous save or other. then try to load the save that you want..

 

On my end sometime loading/continue last save gave me CTD, so i just load another save which i know its working then i simply load again with save that gave me CTD, works all the time

I have. It's not last save specific. I've tried loading from all the saves in my file. Not just the most current one and all CTD. it's a strange little bug, because normal gameplay is just fine. I'm sure it has something to do with either an ini setting gone wrong. However, I still would ctd, with the ini data I posted and the stock, unmodified ini file. I'm going to see if I can get a look at the papyrus log when I get home. I really hope it's something I've done that is easily fixed as this is my fourth full install trying to get a clean and stable game. Cleaning that many mods alone takes a couple of hours or so.

 

Could it be a ugrids issue? I saw somewhere on google where someone bumped their's all the way to loading 11. I'm not to familiar with the ini edit effects. Know just enough about the modding process to get me into trouble sometimes.

well, it is possible if you really edit uGridToLoad..

 

why ? if you changing the value (default is 5) into higher like 7 / 9 / 11. Then somehow you reset your ini, which also reverting back the ugridtoload to default/lower value then most likely you'll have CTD. you need to change it while ingame. But are you sure that you edited your ini before this CTD occured, might be something else tho?

To be honest I don't know a whole lot, read as I know nothing, about uGridToLoad.

 

I first experienced the problem with a pretty much virgin ini.

I don't think I had anything in there changed other than enabling screenshots.

Then I visited a bunch of tweak sites recommended on various forums and edited my ini file to it's current version, hoping that it would help the issue, and it didn't help.

 

And I definitely didn't change it in game. Didn't know you could do that really.

I am having the exact same problem. I don't know when it started as I've been playing an older character for a week or two, but I decided to make a new character last night and played her for a while, saved, talked to my daughter a bit and had to log out, reloaded an hour or so later and none of my new saves work at all. All CTD. My older saves load fine, and I can make a new character just fine, but if I save the new character and try to load the save it will crash. I turned everything off, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted the ini's, etc. All to no avail. :( When I look at the SKSE logs I can see on older saves it goes to "loading co-save" and on the newer ones that's where it stops. I can still play my main game just fine thank goodness, but I have kind of a character making addiction and I really want to be able to load new character saves. :( Edited March 28, 2013 by bpgisme

btw - I haven't messed with that ugrid thing. I have seen it mentioned tonight as I've been searching trying to solve this issue, but I personally didn't mess with that, so that definitely isn't what's causing this. :(

Someone, on another forum, mentioned that it might be my Fantasy Music overhaul that's the culprit, but we tried several methods last night to try and fix the issue. Deleted ini's. deleting saves and trying again. loading with no unofficial mods. On that one I could load a save, but the screen flickered between what I was viewing and black, but couldn't move or open anything other than the console.
