Risibisi
Hi, I'm working since a few months with Blender but I'm still of course a newbie. I want to improve the hair ( long hairstyles) which I have converted for Dragon Age. I would like that only certain parts of the hair follow the movement of the head and not the whole hairstyle. Therefore I need some more informations about weight painting of hair and the bones. So, my question: Has someone of you a tip for me or a good tutorial? I'm looking for answers of questions like: When I have an original Da hairstyle with 12 bones and perhaps bone 12 is in weight paint modus blue (=0 weight), then "where" is this bone of the head (neck, forehead etc) and to which animation it is attached?Sorry, if that sounds a bit stupid but I don't know how to explain it! Thank you! :biggrin:Risi
Risibisi
Okay, I think I have figured it out!It looks like I have overseen this function:DYou can use a vanilla hairstyle as a reference and choose a bone in edit mode, select it and now you will see the parts of the hair which are influenced by this bone.Yep, I know peanuts when you know where you have to look!
