Integrate Frontier Weapons, Factions, Etc. to Mojave?

I really liked the Frontier and I was wondering if someone could add the armors, weapons, and maybe frontier inspired quests, npcs, and stories to the Mojave. It feels a bit disconnected and it feels strange that certain items like guns and clothing are only found in one part of the world. I dont really mind the clothing because the climate is not right for the frontier clothing, but would anyone be willing to integrate some frontier items to the levelled lists? Maybe have a smuggler from portland who sells them, or even have some sort of travel to the frontier after the quest is completed, like a bus?

 

Another thing relating to Frontier is would it be possible to have an alternative way of reaching Portland than joining the NCR? It feels a bit forced even with the Legion you still have to go with the NCR to Portland and later defect to Legion. The same goes for the crusaders. Preferrably there would be a bus that will quickly take you there for 2000 caps and leave you at some bus stop from which you can go and do side quests. It is connected by land so it's not too much of a stretch to think some vehicles can transport people that way.
