Helmets Not Conformulating

Hi, I've been lurking around here awhile, messing around with mods on my own... Recently I tried copying the exact Combat Helmet in the GECK and simply renaming it into EDFCombatHelmet, giving it a new texture set to change the camo pattern on it. When I place the item on an NPC, the helmet appears lopsided, attached to the NPC's ear instead of ontop of their head, where it belongs. I replicated this problem again by simply copying the CombatHelmet entry and changing nothing. Still got the same effect.

I searched around the construction set Wiki and around this forum, and found no solution, how can I get the helmet to fit on the head, instead of at their ears?

 

 

(Edit: I also have trouble with NPCs having non-matching skin, AKA, an African American NPC has white arms but a black face)

To your other prob in the edit...i had the same, but the faces where all white. Somewhere i read, that you have to add

 

bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1

 

to your FALLOUT.INI. That worked for me. No albinos anymore.
