[WiP] Attributes Based Perk Bonuses

I'm currently working on my first mod released for the community called Attribute Bonus Perk Overhaul. Its exactly what it sais it does, it replaces existing static Bonuses on perks by a similar bonus that is based on the players S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes.

Take for instance the Iron fist perk; originally it would always give a flat static bonus of 5 additional damage, no mater how strong a character was. This mod changes that in this instance by giving a unhanded damage bonus ranging from 1 up to 10 based on the logical attribute namely Strength. Similar changes have been made for other Perks, making them stronger or weaker based on a player Attribute values. Also many of the Perk attribute requirements have been eliminated, allowing for greater freedom when developing a character. Perks that offered a insignificant advantage are also boosted by additional bonuses based on Attributes. It should motivate players to select perks that match a players attribute values, which reduce the advantages of min maxing and should therefore improve the players role playing experience. Overall, it makes choosing perks other that the most recommend Perks much more challenging and rewarding.

 

Here is a current list of affected Perks:

 

*Action Boy: based on Agility gain 22-40 Action Points in Vats and an +1-10% increase in speed

*Adamantium Skeleton: Based on Endurance gain 40-90% limb damage resistance and 1-10% normal damage resistance.

*Better Criticals: Based on Perception, Agility and Luck recieve +10-100% damage bonus every time a critical hit is scored on an opponent

*Bloody Mess: 1-10% damage bonus based on Luck

*Chem Resistant: Based on Endurance and Charisma you are 40-100% less likely to develop an addiction to chems and it will also reduce the time you stay addiced by 8-80%.

*Chemist: Based on Inteligence, chems last 20-100% longer

*Child at Heart: adds 1-10 speech skill bonus (mod by Charisma) and 1-10 sneak skill bonus (mod by Agility)

*Concentrated Fire: Besides the accuracy bonus to hit any body part in V.A.T.S, based on Luck increased weapon damage by 1-10%.

*Contract Killer: +10-100% credit reward bonus based on Charisma

*Commando: using 2 handed weapons you gain an +22-30% accuracy bonus in VATS (mod by Agility) and 1-10% reduced weapon spread (mod by Strength)

*Computer Whiz: added 2-20% (Intelligence) computer hacking bonus

*Cyborg 2-20% Damage/Poison/Radiation Resistances based on Endurance and 12-20% energy weapon skill (Perception) and a 1-10% reduced spread on Energy weapons (Agility)

*Daddy's Boy (or Girl) +5-15% science skill bonus, +5-15% medicine skill bonus based in Intelligence

*Demolition Expert: 12-30% explosives damage bonus based on Perception and Intelligence

*Educated: receive 1-4 extra skill points based on Intelligence (INT 1-3: 1, INT 4- 5: 2, INT 6-8: 3, INT 9-10:4)

*Entomologist: gain +34-70% (Intelligence) weapon damage , +1-10% (Perception) critical hit and +5-50% (Inteligence) critical damage when targeting Insects

*Explorer: Beside reveiling the entire Map you gain based on Endurance +1-10% Radiation resistance and +2-20 Life points.

*Fast Metabolism: Based on Endurance gain 20-50% more hit points from stimpacts

*Finesse: Based on Agility you gain a +1-10% chance to score a critical hit with all weapons.

*Fortune Finder: Based on Luck you'll find considerably more Nuka-Cola caps in containers than you normally would.

*Gun Nut: 5-15% small guns skill bonus based on Agility and 5-15% repair skill bonus based on Inteligence

*Gunslinger: 22-30% VATS accuracy bonus (mod by Agility) and 1-10% reduced weapon spread (mod by Agility) using 1 handed weapons

*Infiltrator: add additional 2-30% lockpick skill bonus based on Agility and Perception

*Impartial Mediation: Neutral Karma players gain a 22-40% speech skill bonus based on Charisma

*Iron Fist: based on Strength gain 1-10 unarmed damage bonus and one additional damage for every 4 levels

*Lady Killer/Black Widow: 12-30% (Charisma ) weapon damage bonus, +1-10 (Perception) Critical hit bonus and an +5-50%(Charisma) critical damage bonus versus the opposite sex.

*Lead Belly: based on Endurance gain 50-95% less radiation from drinking radiated water source and 25-100% less radiation from drinking Dirty Water.

*Lawbringer/Contract Killer: based on Charisma, receive an additional +10-100% reward bonus

*Lifegiver gain 30-70 hit points based on Endurance and Charisma

*Master Trader: Based on Charisma recieve 21-30% reduced trader prises and an +1-10% speech skill bonus

*Ninja: gain when using Meglee or Unarmed you gain 11-20% (Agility) critical hit chance bonus and +12-30% damage bonus based on Strength

*Pyromaniac: Based on Endurance gain 30-60% more damage with fire-based weapons, 1-10% resitance against fire

*Robotics Expert: 20-40% damage bonus versus robots (Intelligence), +1-10% (Perception) chance to score a critical hit on Robots which will do 5-50% (Inteligence) more damage.

*Rad Resistance: Based on Endurance gain +20-40% radiation resistance from external sources.

*Scoundrel: Based on Charisma gain an +5-15% speech skill bonus and 5-15% barter skill bonus.

*Silent Running: added 4-20% sneak skill bonus based on Agility and Perception

*Size Matters: +2-20% (Strength) Heavy weapon skill bonus, +2-20% (Endurance) damage bonus and a 1-10% (Strength) reduced spread using Big Weapons.

*Sniper: Based on Perception gain a +20-30% accuracy bonus in VATS and an +1-10% Critical hit chance with long range weapons.

*Strong Back: based on Strength and Endurance you can carry 40-80 more pounds of Equipment

*Swift Learner: based on Intelligence and Charisma gain 2-20% more experience and +1 additional skill points every level

*Thief: 5-15% sneak skill bonus based on Agility and 5-15% lockpick skill bonus based on Perception

*Toughness: gain 5-15% Damage resistance based on Endurance

 

Beside the balances based op the player Attribute, some perks are also modified by other player statistics:

* Nerd Rage!: Based on your current health level, gain up to 80% damage resistance and 0-10 Strength bonus when players health drop below 50%
