JayyRemixx
Every now and then I stumble upon a interesting mod, when I activate it and open Oblivion (Through OBSE), it opens for 1 second then closes immediately. It stops doing that when I uninstall the mod. This happens with lots of different mods. What does it have to do with? Load order or something? (I already update BOSS everyday.) Mahtawa
Do you have 1.2.416 (or later) oblivion and shivering isles installed? Most mods require these.Usually instant CTD means that it's missing a master file or other required. (Some may even crash if you don't have let's say.. Pluggy installed)
Nephenee13
He's clearly missing a master.Post your load order.
majikmonkee1975
I've had that happen a few times, even after checking and re-checking the required files and so forth. I've also had some that worked just fine a few months ago, then when I installed them again on the same computer later, they suddenly decide not to work. Weird stuff... Nephenee13
Its not weird, its missing master files. This is trivially easy to tell if you use Wrye Bash.
KenJackson
I've had mine crash when one .ESP required another .ESP but I had the load order wrong. Basically for the same reason as a missing master file crash, required data wasn't available, yet, but because the data was in an .ESP rather than an .ESM it wasn't in the masters list and Wrye Bash failed to catch it.
