cosinusoid
hello readders and memebers of the Nexus forums. lastnight as we played fallout3 i had a strange problem with the rendering of the tenpenny towers model. there was a low quality texure blocking the enterance and all the penthouse balcony doors. we were able to pass right thorugh the texutre , and even after going in and out of the building and playing away form tenpenny tower for some time , the glitch was still present on our return. dose anyone have a clue as to what happend there ?. it dose not stop the gamplay in anyway, but it spoils the atmosphere having to look at a silly big low quilaity texture. deliverance6
its erm, loaded the Tenpenny tower LOD as well as the normal closeup model. odd bug. did you CoE there with the console?
cosinusoid
i kind of thought something along those lines had happend. im not sure what you mean by "CoE" , so i can say positivly i did not do that.i think i might have fast traveld to tenpenny tower, we were just playing a game and i was not using the console, or any modifications that would conflict with themap at all. is there some way to "flush" the rendering from the long distance map textures and objects ? deliverance6
id advise going to tenpeny tower and "forcing" a shader reload, by waiting untill its nighttime, then fast travelling around for "3 days" worth of game time. then back to Tenpenny and see if it's refreshed the LoD. cant promise this'll work but as Chests and NPC's refresh every 3 days its safe to assume the shader probly does as well being as its a game engine feature
