Take it off!

I can't get any of the nude mods (that I want) to work. Everything I find has to be added to a previous mod. Do I really need to download six different mods just to get one result, or is there an "all in one" mod that I've overlooked?

...or if someone can walk me through the steps to install it correctly, I'd appreciate that too.

You probably either unpacked the files to the wrong directory (it has to be the Fallout3/data folder), or you didn't enable archive invalidation. I recommend getting Archive Invalidation Invalidated here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 -- run the program version so you don't have to mess with anything manually.

I put everything in the Program Files/Bethesda/Fallout3/Data folder... even the link you recommended. Still no nudity. And I just got to the brothel!

Help me out.

And did you do the archiveinvalidation?

Have you changed your FALLOUT.ini?

If you haven't done these then your mods won't work.

Well, while nudes aren't what I'm trying to get working (simple skin textures, eyes and hair options are what I'm after), I still feel your pain. I can't get a single mod to be recognized in my data file folder. I created the ArchiveInvalidation.txt. I changed my .ini file before ever downloading. I unzipped everything into data and pasted what the readme said to into the text file. But for some reason the data file on the launch menu simply REFUSES to acknowledge that those files are in the data folder.

I've spent days browsing this forum for a solution before deciding to register and gripe about the issue. This happened to be the first pertinent thread I came across to post my growing disgust at my wasted effort to enhance my game.

If any of you have any idea how I can get these godforsaken things to operate correctly, I would be much obliged.

Don't use the launcher to start your game use FOMM. Also, in saying that, texture mods don't show in the launcher only the .esp mods do.

Sadly, FOMM won't show them either. Textures should just be replacers, yes? As such they should be using a plugin telling the game to use the mod instead of the default game one. But still...no matter what I try it's just not going.

I've started to suspect the recent update as the source of my trouble.

I've replaced the .txt file with the ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated program. Deleted the .txt file and then activated the program. I use FOMM and I have the G.E.C.K. (I read that the G.E.C.K can be used to sort of "update" the mod information to make files post- game update friendly) but haven't found out how to do that. I find the G.E.C.K is a bit confusing to use. OK, a lot confusing. It doesnt seem to open files in anyway I'm used to.

Starting to wonder if I should uninstall/reinstall and disregard the update till a later time.
