2Mbps free capped, renewed premium now Dl at 100ish KB/s?

Hey all,

I have used premium a couple years ago, and more recently have just been using the 'slow' Dl speed of 2MB/s for free, for small files like for Subnautica.

Since I decided to mod and play Skyrim again, I renewed my premium membership, to supposedly unlock the 'unlimited' Dl speed.

The Vortex manager is now showing the speed as approx. 50-300 KB/s. I cannot even remember when speeds were that slow, and I had dial up when that was a thing.

My Dl speed through my ISP is about 70Mbps down, and about 12Mbps up.

I have had this connection for a couple years now with no issues watching Netflix 4k content and having my PC dl large files/games etc at the same time with zero issues.

I am just wondering why my speed has gone from the free capped 2Mbps down to 100-300ish KB/s after paying for premium?

I logged out and in to make sure it was showing as premium member and it is, I also tried changing the download threads from 1 to 10, and back, with no change.

I tried changing the server from CDN to singapore (oceania) to US etc, with no change.

Is there something else wrong I have missed?

Thanks.

PS. I have also made sure that nothing else is downloading, have restarted my pc, reset my net, cancelled and restarted the file I was trying to download, still at KB/s.

At this stage I would even be happy to go back to 2Mbps, which would still get most mods completed in a reasonable time.

Unfortunately that doesn't even show as an option now that I am 'premium.'

Perhaps reversing my paypal payment and cancelling the premium membership will give me the 'slow' option back?

this is nothing to do with vortex.

go to the main support/feedback forum. there are literally hundreds of posts about similar issues and what you need to provide to nexusmods to help them to help you resolve it.
