Climbing mod?

I think what would work better in Skyrim would be something like the 'Blink' spell from Dishonored. You simply aim it where you want to instantly flit across to and let go. You could probably add the ability to climb ledges too.

oh man, I came from Dishonored to Skyrim, and really miss the "Blink" power, and the stealth actions in general.

I like the idea as long as its rock/wall climbing, don't see much point for a spell though since you already got the tcl command. Sounds like a lot of work for something that sort of exits already. =)

Did you watch the vid? It's different from TCL. Plus it'd add lots of new stealth tactics. Being able to instantly teleport up a completely vertical cliff, sneak up behind your target and kill him, then to instantly teleport into a tree to watch the chaos ensue? That's seriously cool. Even if you prefer using TCL nobody wants to have to bring up console and type tcl and then close it again and have to repeat when you're done.

If someone could make a mod where the crossbows could shoot bolts with ropes like in the new Tomb Raider, that would be a good way to scale cliffs and slopes. The Skyrim engine feels very confining after playing Tomb Raider. I think one of the earlier TES games had levitation, which a mage could use instead of actually having to climb.

There was a functioning climbing mod for Oblivion, though I've already contacted the author and he doesn't seem interested in making one for Skyrim. Hopefully someone does, because it's beyond my skill.
