Crashing to Desktop with the "L World"

I'm trying to load "The L World" by Polluxval.

For "City Life" I understand that I should add the esp from the City Life mod on http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/39917 and the sounds, meshes and textures from the City Life mod on http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/11351 . When I load the esp though, the game CTD's when it tries to start up. The game loads correctly only when I don't load this esp! Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

I'm not too sure what Polluxval means by City Life "(non-BP version) + x117 version" because there is only one version of City Life at each of these URL addresses.

Also, I still get males in the game, even though I have no other races, or NPCs, I load the xeoex.esp last, at the end of my mod list, and I begin a new game each time I try to load Oblivion.

 

Thanks in advance if you answer this plea for help! (The reason I'm posting this here, instead of on "The L World" is that there's been no postings there since 2011.

Ok, this mod is fairly complicated. First of all, don't bother with the "City Life" add-on. Not necessary, more of a pain than its worth.

Second of all, remember that any mods that add NPCs that aren't specifically addressed by the alternate esps Polluxval provides will not be affected and can still add male characters. If you want to use other mods you will have to manually convert the males to females using either the CS or TES4Edit (not hard, but time consuming).
