i always live in the little abandoned shack west of Gnaar Mok

I use Nerevarine's Castle mod which adds a huge castle after u kill dagoth ur, complete with guards in glass armor, tons of worshippers, new series of quests, stores, a throne room with musician, it's an incredibly fun place to live. Cross between Bamz-Amschend, Mournhold Palace and a Telvanni tower. Too bad the mod is not entirly finished.

i always used "a good place to stay" but im building my own house now with enough space and some things "ripped" from a good place to stay.

my house is an expansion in tryshas house in balmora

in the pic you can see her house in the bottom and the four rooms next to it.

 

i especialy liked the ingredient jars and the manequins the only thing missing is a weapons rack

my first character is the only one that has any 'residences'. i have one in nearly every major town and they have to include a bed, closet, a good chest or drawers, a small chest and maybe a few assorted sacks or baskets. in my first character i also used to make huge ash statue shrines with like 30 candles on a shelf or something. that was back before i knew what they meant but i left them and they look awesome. anyway my houses include:

 

1. Balmora, Nerano Manor, upstairs because i dont want to disturb Nerano.

2. Caldera, Shenk's Shovel, upstairs in the awesome bedroom there. set up my alchemy lab on the back table.

3. Ald Ruhn, Under Skar, Ramoran Manor, back badroom very very nice.

4. Vivec, Black shalk corner club, downstairs bedroom, its ok.

5. Peligiad, Ahnassis whole house cuz she pretty much lives at the halfway tavern anyway.

6. Sadrith Mora, gateway inn, top room.

7. because of Overflow Loot Bag fears i put all unsellable daedric, ebony, etc armor on the dead hlaalo body in Hlaalo Manor, Balmora

8. same with weapons i put all them on the dead guy in the balmora morag tong prison cell.

 

uh i think thats it if I think of any more ill just edit this post. i dont think i put anything in my stronghold because by the time i got there i was WAY tired of this character and wanted to move on to some themed characters.

As For where I live Atm livin in Australia Perth, Lived in Cambridge/England though for five years

 

In Morrowind though Ralen Hlallu's Body seems to be the go.

 

Dont you get sick of all that rain Malchick, soccer there is awsome though, not as big in Australia.

I found an abandoned house on the top level of ST delyn plaza (the one next to the haunted one)

 

It was empty so i filled it with items and now its mine.

After watching my friends morrowind game ive recently been inspired with my place of residence,

 

Ra'Vir the trader is my Balmora House, The poor Kajitt had to buy it, in order to fund my err emm starting of the game

 

And my Hlaalu stronghold is my other

 

well before i just threw stuff on the ground and packed stuff into chests, crates, urns and cupboards.

 

Now i have Candles to light the place up, Armour Shelves, Diamond, Ruby etc displayed nicely, a few armour mannequins, and of course the table set with antique Dwemer Items,

 

You'd almost think id turned into a women with the amount of time i spend decorating my houses!!!!!!!!
