Taking over the Mojave.

I know theres alternatives to this but. A mod where the player can take over the various towns of the Mojave- Abandoned or otherwise, would be quite nice to see. Starting with how you take it over based on population, and faction control. I.E. NCR or Legion controlled areas can't be conquered. But Nipton, Novac, Primm, Goodsprings, as the four most notable in my opinion, they're neutral unless you get Primm annexed by the NCR, but that's the only acceptation in the default game. So pretty much, if the player becomes Idolized, or wipes out everyone, in a town, they can gain authority over it, making renovations, hiring workers for jobs that town could use for the sake of self sufficiency. You'll be clearing out areas based on necessity, and have a little bit of freedom where you can place things but we're going more Hearthfire freedom, choose what you want in that specific spot, than FO4 freedom, choose where you want every detail to the letter. The basics would be

1. Hire a clean up crew / construction crew, they physically hold this town together by keeping the buildings maintained, but early on, they clean, build, renovate, etc.

2. Find a supply of water, pay someone else, or setup a well somewhere.

3. Food supply, again pay, or setup a farm.

4. Hire people to maintain the pumps / farms (Optional)

 

Then comes additions of course. - General stores, clinics, bars, inns, and other such things, as well as specials based on free spots and the town your in.

Obviously in the end its based on, whos making it, and if anyone makes this mod idea.

Again I know theres alternative methods for this, but not to the extent I'm asking for. The whole idea with this is for people who want their faction to take over the Mojave properly. Speaking of - You can fly flags of a faction, and it'll cause that groups guards to appear.

 

NCR: Troopers DUH

Legion: Legionnaires DUH

House: Securitrons DUH

Wildcard: Mercenaries... Yep

 

And yes, only main factions in my version, though if someone looks at this, says "I like it I'll do it" and decides to add more, that's their choice, I can't stop them.

But yeah theres my idea.
