Topgun006
I'm running Steam's Oblivion GOTY edition as a vanilla play through without any mods. I have a few questions and would really appreciate any answers I could get. 1) Does 100% Magic Resistance make you Immune from reflecting your own spells back at yourself? 2) Does having a 100% Spell Reflect ( or 100% Spell Absorbtion) combined with 100% Magic Resistance make you immune to reflecting your own spells back at you? Since the order is always Spell Reflect, then Spell Absorb, then Magic Resistance, I was hoping having one of the first two at 100% then failing that check since spells can't bounce more than once and I can’t absorb my own spells, it would roll another check at my magic resistance and I would resist the failed reflect or absorbed roll, does it work like that? 3) Which if any of the 3 Spell Reflect, Spell Absorbtion or Magic Resistance will also take into account elemental damage from weapons/bows? Example: could I have my own enchanted weapon with fire damage/ weakness to fire/ weakness to magic reflect back on me with a strike? 4) Does anyone know if adding a dispel on self at the end of a long range spell will make it Reflect Proof, or if that is only Touch Based. Also what is the the formula for the Magnitude to successfully dispel yourself and or your enemy to protect you against reflecting your own spells, 20 % of the base cost?
