audioscavenger
hi :whistling: i wondered why the extros from ThreeDog were never heard, and also add some tunes to the radio. I found a mod on Fallout Nexus forums, with 20 generic tunes but it didn't work for me. Ater analysis in the GECK, I found out that it couldn't eventually work properly, coz of the "random end" checkbox not used in the last condition of the20 adds... almost I guess.. well in fact i don't care, coz it's not random coz it modify only ONE playlist and after 10 hours spend on the GECK i guess the relationships are batter in mine :P EDIT 2009/01/22 ::D WELL i finished mine ! And it's working !! :) Multilanguage Installer EN / FR latest releases !! : (NSIS : Nullsoft installer)FULL : OK (150 Mo)GNR 40's Tunes Ultimate Pack 1.exe (filefront)http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3429/3221030639_85a53664d0_o.png LIGHT : OK (4 Mo) GNR 40's Tunes Ultimate 1 LIGHT.exe (filefront) not yetGNR 40's Tunes Ultimate 1 LIGHT.exe (free)http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3354/3221030737_ae17e0a374_o.pngHere the license EN and the readme EN (rtf docs) to be validated ... Skree000
holy cow, very nice. I always wondered the scripting behind the scenes for the radio! Yikes!! Btw has anyone successfully swapped out combat music without causing crashes or insane game slowdowns? Im guessing its because the combat music is dynamic so it requires specific filesizes or song durations that are set in stone? I have some cool combat musics from games and movies Id like to put in...
Pyro Paul
what about the in game radio broadcasts about a man and his ghoul? how do they fit in?
audioscavenger
what about the in game radio broadcasts about a man and his ghoul? how do they fit in? from the Objects window in the GECK, quest sub-menu, u search for "RadioGalaxyNewsQuest" and double clic In the newly opened window clic in the "radio" tab & u got all the scriptings topics for GNR.Here u can find the Darshwood & his ghoul stories. They are divided in 8 playlists as thoses i drawed in the schematic, and acceced randomly through the same process strating from "RadioHello" topic. U get back to "RadioHello" topic each time after a sound played from a playlist (=topic) which isn't connected to another.I didn't draw it but it's always strating from "RadioGNRPlayerExploitsMQ02"... that's it U wanna add ur own stories ? :P

I guess u saw that ingame music are accessible from the file system under data\songs\music\and so on ? Let's see the particularity of these musics, their length, their format (128k, 192k ? joint stereo ? ?), if u replace them with exactly the same kind of mp3, how could u get any problem ?

RPSNOOPo
Your Soundmod is great but i got a problem. If i open in Game teh pip and select GRN Radio the sound played like he is damaged ore something. In Radio enclave the same, but if the president talks everything sounds good. I opened the musik autside of the game and it sounds good- no damaged musik files.I installed the mod 3 times and replace all my fallout data but nothing changes. If i go in game to a terminal and want to hack shortly the musik playes normal but if the screen is there where i can hack its turns in to damaged sound.I dont know what the problem is. Is there a Playerfile in data folder i must replace ore is it a performance problem my game runs great in very high but the musik not -.- its serious
