prodlimen
I want to make wigs with the vanilla hairstyle nif files... I edited the Female A hairstyle in Blender and exported the resultant nif, but it has a weird blue coloration. Is there something I missed?. Perhaps a nifskope property I should add or remove?. I assigned the correct materials in blender. What can I do to remove that horrible coloration?. http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a540/radspider/Customwig_zpsdfaadc96.jpg Thanks for your attention and help  Edited April 2, 2013 by prodlimen
luthienanarion
That's what it's supposed to look like in NifSkope. It won't be colored like that in-game.
prodlimen
Thanks for answering luthienanarion. Sadly the wig still keeps that horrible color in the geck. Also, Tabitha's wig/bridget wig looks in nifskope the same as it looks in the game, so I'm afraid there's something wrong in blender or nifskope. luthienanarion
I try really hard to never mess with hair meshes, but most usually have that blue tint in NifSkope at least on the Hat object. I assume it has something to do with applied shaders.
prodlimen
I found the issue!!!!. Here you have: http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a540/radspider/solution_zpsfb57466a.jpgIf you select the mesh one of the lines of the left column is highlighted. you open the tree and click the little icon with the paintbrush palette, so another popup window will appear. You just move the little circles that are pointed with the arrow until you eliminate the blue color and restore the original color. Then you accept and save the nif file. Now I have to figure out how to eliminate the blue coloration in the GECK. Thanks luthienanarion for your help!. Edited April 3, 2013 by prodlimen
