how do i change an npc faction rank in-game with a custom rank?

well, i have the cm partners mod, but i wanted to change my already made partner faction to make it a magic type instead of a combat one, because othewise i dont get heals neither do my party, so Im asking for the command, i have tried the setfactionrank "factionbaseid" to 3 and clicked on the npc, but then, it displays : invalid faction "id" for parameter faction, command script not compiled... so when i tested all other factions that came with the plug in, none worked.

Open the mod in the CS to check the spelling. Most modders indicate everything they make in a mod by a few starting characters in front of the resource name.

Vagrant is correct. To clarify that "ID" problem, it is because you have to make sure you have the proper ID for your partner (which, as Vagrant said, can be checked in CS).
