dancochrane83
Hi I downloaded Skyrim yesterday and since then i have been trying so much to get the performance to a playable standard. I'm running an Alienware M11x and after installation I'm advised to run with high settings, everything seems ok for this game to run. The game runs ok in general. BUT..as soon as i get inside after fleeing the Dragon the FPS drops sporadically to single figures then back up and this issue is relentless. The game is basically unplayable. Fighting is impossible I'm not the most computer savvy individual but i have downloaded and im running razer, ive ensured that my graphics drivers are up to date etc.. i'd honestly appreciate any advice as i have been defeated after hours of trying to resolve this. thanks in advance dan
Valkyrie
Ok first off go into your Nvidia or Radeon (videocard) drivers and make all the 3d settings "use game settings". Usually you will have a little icon in your system tray lower right of desktop. Then run Skyrim and lower the graphic setting to med or low and see if that actually makes a difference. Also need some more info. The specs of your machine. Operating system. Any mods installed?
