Forager1
Since I have very little to no knowledge about how a Skyrim mod, let alone a full-on quest, is created, I have decided to create my own campaign and throw it into the metaphorical lion's den that is Skyrim Nexus Forums. Here's how it works: after finding the Scroll of Legend, a quest item exclusive to this mod, you're told about the most powerful weapons ever made: The Forager's Swords, of which there are six scattered throughout the holds of Skyrim and representing the elements fire, water, earth, wind, metal ,and wood, The Sister Swords (The Sword of a Thousand Lies and The Sword of a Thousand Truths), which are much more powerful than the Forager's Swords and reside in Markarth and Solitude representing darkness and light respectively, and finally the most powerful weapon of all, The Sword of Penultimance with a whopping 40% chance of instantly killing anything...even DRAGONS!!! After you collected all 8, you can use them anytime. Details in the enclosed document below. If anyone would like to do the modding for this or design the weapons or something, just drop me a PM or send me an e-mail or something. This MIGHT be a scripted mod, but I'm not sure if I could manage that.
Forager1
Scroll of Legends- Once, there was a man called the Forager, who could create weapons that bent the very power of the elements. He did this by using pieces of his soul to create them, and each sword represented a different element—fire, earth, water, and wind. The final two swords that he created were the swords of wood and metal, polar opposites to each other created from the bones in his own legs, leaving him unable to walk again. The Creators of Reality and Imagination, watching over All Known Existence, feared that one day they would lose themselves in their power and destroy all that existed, and would have to be destroyed by a chosen one. However, such a power could never belong to a mortal or even immortal of any species since such power would be abused by the bearer. They found the Forager, distraught that his final work would go unfinished—a pair of sister swords were more powerful than the six pieces of his soul combined, one created from a dead sun and another one made from a fallen star. The Creators came to him and explained that they knew of his ability to forge powerful weapons and wanted to contain the immeasurable power to destroy them within one. The Forager told them that he couldn't complete his work and would have nothing to give to them, his soul was split between the swords, he could not walk to carry out their will, and his fading life would be worthless to them. They returned his legs and he was given the ability to travel through the worlds effortlessly. The Forager refused and said, 'but Creators, I have no soul to give, and a life that would be worthless to you.' the Creator of Reality smirked and replied, 'If you cannot use your own soul, then use the souls of others. As for tribute, when your life has ended, we will use your body to house this power. A living mortal would abuse it, a dead one will not.' The Forager eventually returned to the Creators with his swords, one in each hand. The sword in his left was fed by the souls of the righteous and pure, those who devoted their last breath to defending the weak and downtrodden even if it meant the destruction of their own bodies. The blade glowed a golden light and burned a white-hot flame of justice, one that would burn those unworthy of touching it. The sword in his right was fed by the most vile, sadistic, and wicked beings in All Known Existence, the once-silver blade turned as twisted and black as the souls it now craved, the vengeful spirits within attacking whoever's hand was too pure to wield the jagged blood-stained blade. The sister swords were each named, the sword in his left hand was the Sword of a Thousand Truths, and the sword in his right was the Sword of a Thousand Lies, both named because each houses a thousand souls. The Forager's body was reformed into a sword and given the power, all nine of the Forager's creations spread across All Known Existence. When all six fragments of the Forager's soul were brought together, they will lead to the location of the Sister Swords; these would release the Sword of Penultimance, the Forager's final and most dangerous creation.
