miked79
Ooooo im so frustrated!!! Can someone help me, I dont know what the problem is. I followed some tutorials step by step but i cant get it to work.I made a follower. Which I can speak to him and make him follow me. And I can give him armor and what not. But I wanna make him be able to speak. I created dialogue for him. Just one topic...and one bit of conversation. But now when I go to talk to my follower. He doesnt do anything. He will not speak , I get no prompts, I just dont know what im doing wrong. Anyone ever have this issue? Or does someone know off the top of their head, something I might be doing wrong. THanks! Guest deleted6217698
I had this issue when I made my first NPC in the Creation Kit. "This is a prety well documented custom dialogue bug as of the 1.7 patch. The work around is as described above, viz., go to the NPC in-game. Save your game. Load that save. Should work. Go to the Creation Kit part of the official Bethesda Skyrim forums and search on dialog bug for more info and current status of fixes (if any). --Shalani (talk) 17:50, 13 October 2012 (EDT)"So basically, load your game, save it, and then reload it. Assuming the NPC isn't broken for some other reason, they should work. In the future, check the "Discussion" tab at the top of the tutorials on the Creation Kit website - these will almost always have answers you any problems you experience.
