Applying a custome body mod to an ally

Can some one help explain or point me to a walk through of how to apply a body mod to only an ally (like the custome girl with pink hair mod forgot her name) ive tried and tried.

In order to give a different body to just one character you'd have to create a custom race within the companion's mod.

 

You'd copy an existing race close to what you want, rename it & modify it's "Body Data" to point to the new textures & meshes that you've placed in uniquely named folders within the Data foilder.

 

Then you edit the companion to use the newly created Race.

If you mean Jessi, there's already a mod that gives her a custom body:

It might be easier to modify that to use a body more to your taste.
