Glitchy Weapon Racks & Plaques

So I get the option to activate them, but when I do ~I tried with weapons unsheathed and sheathed~ it does nothing until about 5-10 minutes later when suddenly my weapon unequips itself and runs off to the weapon rack/plaque I activated earlier.
I first discovered this problem when I reinstalled Skyrim and downloaded the Riverside Lodge with Sauna mod. I thought it might of only been the mod, but then discovered I also have the problem in Proudspire.
Help maybe?
