BAND1Tevolved Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I changed the terrain a little bit and deleted some of the objects around it like trees and rocks. It looks fine in the GECK, but when I go into the actual game I can still see the objects I deleted floating in the air. I can shoot right through them and walk through them, so they arent really there anymore. How can I remove these objects completley so I dont see a bunch of floating trees that the geck says arent there anymore? Thanks guys
SpeedyB64 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I had the same issue. It is part of the object LOD (distant land/objects). This has been bugging me for a while.
deliverance6 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 ah figured this'd be a savegame issue with LoD be attributed per save. does it happen on a new game?

I did a test on a diff file and altering the wasteland seemed to give me random crashes and floating objects. Could it be because I did not duplicate the wasteland cell and edit the copy? I know how to do it with interior cells, but I could not figure out how to duplicate certain coordinates of the wasteland and then edit the copy. Im a newb so I dont even know if thats possible or if it could be a problem...?
SpeedyB64 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 You can't duplicate an exterior cell. This is a LOD problem.
