Risk
I've pulled a couple mods from the list to try and they are working with the exception of the textures of the "New" Weapons and armors. I have placed them in the data file as is proper and am not sure why fallout is not looking in the folders placed there for the textures. If anyone could point me to or post a step by step to remedy this situation it would be welcome. :thanks:
DukeNukem2
You know what. I'm having a similar problem. I built a new weapon model but used the original 10mm havok physics. Set up a new GECK weapon named Weap1911. The weapon world model displays in the game but is using the wrong textures, and the 1st person model is reverting back to the original 10mm instead of my new 1911. Are you having the same problem? Risk
I have had that happen with an armor set from one of the quests that the npc was wearing.

Are you having the same problem? if you want it to be uses as a new weapon with a new model you also have to create a new form under world objects-static-weapons. edit the original pistol with a new name and grab your new model there. try to behave with your names the same as long as you work in geck. move to your weap1911 you already created and grab under art and sound in the 1st person tab the new static you just created. that should work. missing or wrong textures are always the mistake of putting them in the wrong directory (always put the texture in the path you have provided in your .nif file[best thing is to move them in your fallout3\data\texture\weapon folder before you final save it]) OR adding them twice. if a new weapons comes with an .esm it is NOT necessary and can cause much more problems to add the .dds to your archiveinvalidation.txt.
