SeirZ
Hey, Just got FO3 for PC after having a friend lose my Xbox version and I'm a smadgeon overwhelmed by the mod community. xP Well I used to own all the DLCs and some of these "New Lands" mods require them and a "No vanilla borders" mod. Does the mod suffice for running the new lands or do I need all the DLCS as well? And if so is there some way to emulate having the DLCs to enable use of various mods requiring them? =/
SoulReaver911
Well, you actually don't need a mod to remove the borders. Some mods require it to be removed and some don't, depending on whether or not the mod resides in a totally different place than the wasteland (like the pitt.) You can remove it manually: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Removing_In-Game_Borders or get the configurator program (recommended) and there is an option in there to do it for you http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6769In order to know which dlcs you need, find the readme for each mod or look at the mod's webpage and it should tell you requirements Edited April 7, 2013 by SoulReaver911
