Creating a follower from a Racemenu preset.

Hey all,

I wanna start this with a preface:

I have created a basic follower, and exported a Racemenu preset and facial geometry data for one of my PC.

I tried to taking the exported NIFS, reverting them to LE, merging them onto the followers exported facial data, and then reconverting them to SE. It worked for everything except the eyes. The eyes on the follower are tilted upwards. I am fairly familiar with Creation kit and SSEedit, but i am looking for a guide to get me from racemenu preset to follower face with as many idiot proof steps as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Do you own LE? If so, you can have this a bit easier. Create the whole follower in LE. Use the LE creation kit and also LE Racemenu plus "NPC nifmerge", then "port" the finished follower to SE. That's what I did. It saves you one conversion step. On the other hand: If your method works, everything's fine...

If you want a guide, here you go. IMHO quite "foolproof". You'll see that the route taken in this guide is different from yours. But since your method basically seems to work, IMHO no need to redo everything.

Regarding the eyes: Running "Nif optimizer" on eye meshes can bork them. This happens both on males and females, but the issue seems to be more noticeable on female followers. If I remember right, Ousnious, the creator of "Nif optimizer", said this wasn't fixable on his side. So we basically have to live with it.

There's a workaround / fix though:
