Shotokanguy Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 So, I downloaded all of the files I needed to make it work with Immersive Armors and Weapons, all that stuff. I activated them and then ran the .jar file, patched it and activated the new esp...things seemed to work fine, it was listed in MCM...and then I realized I forgot to download a custom skeleton. Sure enough, I didn't have two sheaths while dual wielding and I could actually see the tip of my shield clipping up through the floor under my feet, instead of hanging on my arm...or back. I'm pretty amazed that I haven't completely destroyed my game yet in trying to mod it, so I want to be careful here and make sure I get it working right. If I download a skeleton and activate it as normal, will everything go in the right place? Or is the process more complex? Will I have to run the .jar again, uninstall anything? It's a little different from how most mod installs go, so I'm not sure of the process. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheVampireDante Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 Yeah, it'll work fine if you add a new skeletal mesh in afterwards. Just find one that's suitable (should be listed on the mod page) and drop it in like instructed. No need to rerun the .jar again (not that I've seen so far anyway). I downloaded Unique Uniques as part of this whole process but forgot the mesh pack under Dual Sheath Redux. I assume this one does require me to run the .jar and patch it all over again, huh? GaistHeidegger Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 If you install the mesh pack it will pick up on it automatically, presuming you had Unique Uniques already installed and activated when you initially ran the .jar; whether you have the necessary meshes present or not for left handed weapons / sheaths / shields on back, Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp makes entries for every single piece of gear during the jar process and has Skyrim looking for appropriately-named meshes (they're just not showing up in-game if there's a missing mesh when Skyrim checks.)
