SGD Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm looking for a mentor to teach me how to add things like an enhanced zoom, NVG and IR effects to the 'Wearable Eyepatch' (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=239) mod, I really have no idea what to do but I want to made good modifications. So if anybody could take some of their valuable time to teach me the basics of modding, I'd be really happy.
r4y30n Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Well if you get the permission of one of the guys with a nightvision mod, then all you have to do is clone the eye patch in the GECK, give it a unique name, and set it to use the same script as whatever nightvision equipment they have in their mod. Of course, to be really cool, you would need to find a modeler/texturer to make it look like the Solid Eye or something similar...
SGD Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 I was kinda hoping that I could learn how to create these scripts (except the night-vision one, I'd leave that up to the professionals) by myself, and get taught how to skin and model myself. First of all, I need to know how to increase the level of zoom while the 'Solid Eye' is equipped...
