RegM Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 Hi folks, Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this thread but since it only happens on skyrim.nexusmods.com, I haven't found any other place to put it. For the last 2-3 days, I've been having a very hard time just opening skyrim.nexusmods.com. here are the symptoms... - Sometimes, it will open after 5-10 seconds, most often takes 30+ seconds just to completely open the main page.- Sometimes I get an error (502 - bad gateway)- sometimes the page will load as text only (no graphics or formatting of the page)- This happens with IE, Firefox (addons on, addons off), & Chrome (vanilla)- This happens ONLY on skyrim.nexusmods.com -- I can load New Vegas Fallout pages no problems - All my other internet stuff is working normally. Are the slowdowns affecting anyone else? or is it just me? (going to try Win 8 & Linux after this post & report back). Thx in advance... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cyndi Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Same Issue, and time frame of when it started for me, although I only tried skyrim nexus.I'm averaging:-10-12 seconds for a mod page to load, another 10-12 to open a mods comments or download page.-20-30 seconds to open the main skyrim nexus page1 in 10 links give the 502 gateway error (roughly), however if Im opening several at a time to look at for example Severin manor mods to compare them, most of the bunch will get the error.-Using google chrome -Everything else internet is normal for me too. I'm not getting this error any more frequently than I normally do though:"- sometimes the page will load as text only (no graphics or formatting of the page) " I'm just chalking this up to higher than normal weekend traffic, but saw this thread and thought I would post too. Thanks. --- Ok, I tried on 3 different OS, different AV, Antimalware etc etc - ALL 3 OS have the same issue (502 bad gateway, slow load times when it succeeds, no issues with Oblivion, fallout, nv nexus sites).- I even tried different DNS to see if it would help, no go. --- My location is eastern Canada if that helps. I also posted a ticket to the webmaster to report this. (with a link to this thread so they can see it's not an isolated case.) In my case, I have had slow weekends before but never like this (which is why I posted about it). And the 502 Bad Gateway is a new issue for me.
