Treeka5
Hello. Bonjour. Privet. Olá. Kon'nichiwa. I really want to start playing, but there are so many mods that my brain explodes and I end up playing about 30 min at the vanilla version and leave the game completely unhappy and frustrated with it  Please give me advice. I would be very happy with the mod links, or mode names so I can find them wuth no problemo. Name the best mods in the following categories in your opinion.1. Mod for improving the textures of the game world (HD - houses, roofs, land, roads, stones, castles, caves, etc.)2. Mod for improving the textures of trees, grass, foliage, flowers, etc.3. Mod for improving the textures of water (rivers, banks, lakes)4. Good weather mod (rain, fog, sunny day, sunsets, sky)5. Best Body Replacer?6. Best Faces? Hairs, etc. All in one maybe?7. Best Bouncing Breasts, Skeleton?8. Player adult mods + quests, story, tasks, etc (pm if needed) And everything that you think will help me make the game beautiful and alive. Thank you, be well and let the sun shine. Edited February 9, 2021 by Treeka5
anjenthedog
Big question. I'll try and answer a couple of them (from my biased perspective) 3. I like Realistic Water 2.0 and I apply Better Water BEFORE it. 7. CBBE-3BBB body, (most popular, alternatively, if you prefer UNP textures and base slider controls when adjusting a player body, BHUNP), XMPSSE skeleton, Sinful CBP for adjusting CBPC response. You'll also need to install CBBE as it's the foundation for CBBE-3BBB All the rest...idk....each to his/her own. Most mods (that have to do with armor or bodies or locations) have a plethora of example images you can use to judge based on your own eye. I spent quite a while browsing the Mod Categories and Most Endorsed sections as well as watching youtube from people like ESO, MXR mods, and others for showcases of quest, armor, etc mods.. You also probably want/need some utility mods like Bodyslide and Outfit Studio, SSEEdit, and Fallrim Tools One tip or two.1) make sure to read mod descriptions in full before installing a mod, including but not limited to the "requirements" section.2) Be patient when installing mods. Some people try to install too may at a time before checking to make sure the game works, then are left "crying" after the fact. Install a mod, make sure the game still works and the mod is doing what it's supposed to do. If it does, install the next. repeat and rinse. If it doesn't, STOP, and fix the problem or uninstall the mod. Unless this was a "required mod", move on in your list and mark that one as "I need to follow up later". If it is a "required mod", you'll have to stall until you get it fixed or stop installing the mod that it's a requirement for, until you do fix it. Mod for improving the textures of trees, grass, foliage, flowers, etc. Take a look at some comparison videos. This is a personal taste kind of thing. That said, if you really want to be told, either Tamrielic Textures or Noble Skyrim with SMIM. 3. Mod for improving the textures of water (rivers, banks, lakes) Realistic Waters 2.xx 5. Best Body Replacer? CBBE 6. Best Faces? Hairs, etc. All in one maybe? The Bijin collection 8. Player quests, story, tasks, etc (pm if needed) The Rigmor collection, Interesting NPCs, Midwood Isle SE, Vigilant, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Outlaws and Revolutionaries. Looking for something spicier? Try the Thuggysmurf collection (especially Depravity) and Tales from the Commonwealth over on the Fallout 4 Nexus. Stay away from those LL site mods that can cause even the Stable Edition to crash.

I studied everything you wrote from start to finish. Much has cleared up.Now I understand where to start. Where to get the character's body and what all these headers mean. Thanks for the skeleton and CBP recommendations.BodySlide and Outfit Studio will be tricky to understand, but I think I'll figure it out sometime. All I have to do now is download everything and start installing it step by step. Now my head is spinning much slower :)

Moksha8088
A copy of Outlaws and Revolutionaries is on the Project Valkyrie Discord server if anyone wants to play the mod. It’s under the download-the-mod thread: https://discordapp.com/invite/gMpaxn3

Sunspot
Hello Treeka, If you do not have much experience at modding, the first thing to do is get a good mod organizer, I would recommend Mod Organizer 2. You will also want to at least get LOOT, (Load Order Optimization Tool). For learning how to install regular mods and useful tools I highly recommend the tutorial videos by Gamer Poets available on YouTube. I found his videos thorough and they are easy to follow and cover many basic installations such as SKSE, (Skyrim Script Extender), SkyUI, (Skyrim User Interface), and how to set up and use MO2 to install mods. As to the categories you listed my advice is as follows; 1)Objects Static Mesh Improvement Mod, (SMIM) by Brumbek For the sake of, "ease of use", I would try out the Cathedral Concept Mods because they are very compatible and produce excellent results. They cover: Lighting - Luminosity Mountains - Majestic Mountains Weather and Seasons Water And many more. For NPC's try Total Character Makeover Once you are comfortable with these, (together they will vastly improve the look of the game), you can look for others you may want. Hope this helped get your Skyrim lookin good.
