nando420
most games have a log file where crash information is saved, i tried looking around the directories but couldnt find one, this game has way too many crashes sometimes they are random but crash on save is not a random issue and the game should tell you why its doing that or the corrupting esp, a problem if your like me and have over 100 esps running. If someone knows where the log file is please share.
lostinmymind
Don't think there is one. 1 up for bethesda. In Fallout3.ini (my documents/my games/fallout 3) there is a line iFileLogging=0 You can try changing that to 1 and then look through all of your temp/system folders for the crash dump. That's as much as I know-good luck. EDIT: Line was actually in the middle of the file. Find showed it at the bottom of the window so there :P

lostinmymind
Don't fret my friend, there'll be plenty more where those came from! I've been going through the .ini files and all the bloatware that FO3 comes with to try to isolate problems-got a couple things in testing as of now. Also, I've gone through my actual Fallout3 folder and I don't see an ini file anywhere... Guess each one of us gets our own little bug, eh? nando420
Yeah I think I put it in there and forgot which one was the original, as for crash log ive had several and no file can be found. Kinda sucks but I bet Bethesda did it on purpose to make things easier on their tech support ie: not deal with it at all.
