darkstar10
I made a perk with the G.E.C.K. for my Fallout 3 PC, which works perfectly, and wanted to add my own pipboy icon for the perk (to be able to see when choosing the perk and in the pipboy). I did the creation of it in Photoshop (using Alpha channels and such). I created a new whole file image but that had problems with the way I did it also. So after I extracted Bethesda's images with the .BSA extractor I opened one of their perk images (the mysterious stranger) and just changed the design in the Alpha Channel. And yes I saved it as .dds. I did the .BSA extractor and put the file with the other pipboy images ( data/texture/interface/icons/pipboyimages/perks). Still get the PipOS error 26 no file found problem. However, when I used a regular image (say for instance, the bloody mess perk image) it works out fine. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Go easy; I'm very new to modding and creating this perk was the first thing I've ever done. Doing the image is just more tricky then I thought and I really don't want to use Bethesda's pipboy images as a default unless it won't work so all help is greatly appreciated.
