Kavem4n
So when I use the weapon ingame it's basically just reflecting the texture of the world and not displaying it's texture.I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, the texture folders are in the main texture folder in the data folder. I can also not get MTUI to load either, I installed that into the data file and it didn't make a difference.Am I missing something?

Have you done the ArchiveInvalidation?Have you set bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in your FALLOUT.ini? You will find the ini in MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3Changed your FALLOUT.ini
Kavem4n
I have. The file was called Fallout_default.ini, I changed it in that. Then it didn't work so I renamed it Fallout.ini and it hasn't made a difference.

Yes the first ini you mentioned is incorrect and loads of people do it. Have you done ArchiveInvalidation?

Baelkin
I'm surprised how many people how this problem despite accurate installation information can be found in most mod Read Me's. We should have a smiley with a big RTFM sign and have that as the only response to these threads about "mod textures don't work or look wonky". ;D Meh, I guess not everyone can be expected to read the manual when it's much easier just asking someone else.
SpeedyB64
Smosh: you should write a troubleshooting tutorial and try to get it pinned at the top of this page (remember to use all capitol letters so noobs can see it easy ;) )

Don't want to give myself a noddy badge or anything but it really pays to read all responses properly. I had mentioned where that ini was about 3 posts before that response. Anyway, glad you got it working.
