InfinityXeon
I know this may seem completely unusual to some people, aas it makes absolutely no sense to me, but people in screenshots are not appearing until a screenshot is enlarged. INstead, the little thumbnail view shows just the background with full detail behind it. It's pretty weird.
DrakeTheDragon
Weird indeed. You do know a screenshot is just an image? There is no background or foreground data-wise, only pixels on a plane. How one specific section of an image can be missing while others are not, without there being any computable difference between the ones and the others, is beyond me. I think your problem description is missing some details or maybe examples even, so anybody is able to get a clue what it is you're describing. "People in screenshots are not appearing" is next to impossible, as there's no split between the background and the people in the screenshot. No system can even tell what 'is' background and what is people in a screenshot, especially not, if there's no people in it at all to begin with. However, if you mean a thumbnail isn't a thumbnail and it is showing only a 'cut-out' of the whole image but at original size, that'd be something entirely different, and nothing new either. Then something in generating the thumbnails was going wrong and the thumbnails are no actual thumbnails now. What's also not uncommon is mods' header images and the 'Hot Files' pics not showing anything significant but again just a 'cut-out' part of the image. This can be fixed by the mod's author via the image manager tools, setting up which image to use for it and defining the 'precise' area to be used for the two image types. The only place actual 'thumbnails' are used is in actual lists of images, like the overview of all screenshots to a mod, the 'Latest Images' or similar image browsing sections, or the real tiny ones in any lists of mods.
