darkdill Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 One of my favorite oldies games has to be Warcraft II. Pretty old gameplay, but still very challenging and lots of fun. Requires you to have extremely good micro/macro skills. And then there's the sound effects. Gotta love some of them, like the Bloodlust sound. You hear that 5 times before a fight, you know you're in for a world of hurt. That had me thinking: what if someone were to make a mod that alters some in-game sounds to use Warcraft sounds? For instance, that Bloodlust sound when you use the Orc's Berserk power. Or the Orc death sound when you kill a male orc? If nothing else, this would be good for a few laughs. I'm sure Blizzard wouldn't mind, as the sounds from Warcraft II by now are freeware (AFAIK). Anyone want to take a crack at it?
