Roycesraphim
So, I lack the ability to record good sound and have no intention of buying a studio. The next best thing is to use a speech synthesizer to voice some companions and characters. Does anyone know of a free or cheap program that would allow me to type text and have the program voice it, and then allow me to save and convert it for Fallout:NV? pwinkle
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Thats the program that pretty much anyone who's making voice files for NV uses, it allows you to record new files within the program; and also lets you edit existing one in various ways. You can also save what you've recorded as an .ogg file too; saving the whole mess of converting what you've recorded later. Its really easy to use when you get into it. Good luck with your project man.
evolutionEPC
Royce, if you want a more human sounding voice I would be willing to do some voice acting for you. Just answer in this thread or PM me if interested.
