TucsonKid
Hello, I am looking for any active Fallout New Vegas modders to help with a request. I need someone to create an 1873 Winchester in .44-40 Winchester. I want it to look like the one in the pictures. Only in the pictures given. If willing to do the request, I have gun stats and a resource to provide. Let me know when you want to. Thanks,TucsonKid Edited April 21, 2013 by TucsonKid
schanez
Isn't the cowboy repeater a winchester?
TucsonKid
Yes, but the cowboy repeater is a model 1886 Winchester. This Winchester 1873 can hold 15 rounds instead of 11 and it looks and is a cowboy gun.
jazzisparis
Is it "all or nothing" for you, or will you consider settling for the next, closest alternative? I'm asking, because the chances someone actually complies and makes it aren't very high. The cowboy repeater and brush gun bear the closest resemblance to the 1873 (though the former has a shorter tubular magazine, and the later's stock is shaped differently). Both were professionally retextured by Millenia (here and here). You can use the GECK to create a custom version of either of them, setting it to use .44 Magnum ammo (or create a new ammo type, the .44-40, which is also easily done), then increase its magazine capacity to hold 15 rounds. TucsonKid
I guess you can say so because I have little experience in doing this thing. I would rather someone who has more practice with this than I. I all I want is A completely different Winchester than the cowboy repeater and the Brush gun.
