ngalyod
Hello all. I've got what is probably a very stupid and very basic question, but I'm not terribly computer-savvy to begin with, and I'd appreciate some help. I bought the ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas from steam, and installed nexus mod manager mostly to help me turn off some of the official plug-ins that come with it. I don't want to start with all of the various different item packs (caravan, classic, etc), but I want to easily be able to turn them back on again later. I've unchecked the plug-ins in the mod manager, I've unchecked them in the game's data screen, but the bloody things still load every time I start a new game. Can anyone tell me how to make them stop? I've also bought Oblivion, and I have reason to believe I'll be wanting to turn some of the DLC off as well, so if this is a solution that's common to both games, that'd be great. blove
They are being loaded by their NAM files. Go to your Data directory and move or delete the "blahblahDLC.NAM" files. Do not worry, you can always get them back by revalidating the game through Steam. I do not remember Oblivion having any NAM files.
