nioh2 Is it possible to mod the controls?

Would it be possible to mod the game so the camera would be locked behind the player so that moving forward and backward and side to side would be done with wasd and aiming the character would be done by using the mouse?

 

I don't know why developers don't do this. I'm so tired of having to use wasd like a thumbstick and the above control scheme would make these games so much more playable.
