That was a really great and lengthy post full of good advice Acrid and for that I say thank you. I have been wondering also if you might be interested to help? I dont know if you can model and all, but it seems to me that you can make this mod work. With that I mean put all the loose parts (like the story, models of buildings, the rest of enviroments and characters) together and make sure it works (betatesting and final progress).

 

Interested to help us? After all we have now a small core group of modellers (still they are busy and working their asses of to complete the big ammount of models we need) and we still need people like beta testers, animators of the cutscenes and few others.

 

Oh and I believe Geo is about to make another revalation here...

Yup that's right Xan! I've got a special announcement to make:

 

Since the MwSource forums has been a great help for us to promote our project (by this topic) we wanted to have a larger place to post our messages. So last night I have officially released our new Tatooine Mod Forums

If you are interrested in updates and want to discuss this mod further, or if you have special idea's for the mod or mabey requests you can post your questions on our forum. We are still going to use this thread here because our forum isn't that famous ^_^ . But concider joining the forums if you want to.

 

Btw yeah....acrid are you interrested in joining us ;) ?

I wouldnt have the time to do any modelling, i go back to boarding school in a week, i hope milkshape can be brought in GB though.

 

but in the holidays i have time, so i might try some modelling then...

 

but overall, i think that this MOD is going v. well, though i havent been able to see any screenshots other than the ones in this post and the other post (in mod recruiting section)

Thx, well all the new textures are on the models. I started yesterday to export them as a nif and I want to make some new ingame screens. I've made some but they had the old texture which looked realy ugly in the game. So be patient I'm trying to get the screens done this week ^_^

The only problem I can see that this mod might have (besides the long amount of time that is needed to make it) is that people who want to play it have to have a high-end game engine. Balmora is already a little hard for most people's computers, but coruscant? Man. Plus it will be an insane amount of static that the comp will have to load, giving slow load times, and all that good stuff.
