song414
I get a face flickering issue when i make a skse.ini file and use the resolution increase setting with crossfire. Apparently this issue affects many crossfire issues. I have the latest beta drivers. Is there a fix for this?

scm1893
I'm jumpin' in to bump this. I've searched the crap out of this flickering face problem. Most threads are a year old but they point to a problem with Crossfire. Supposedly updating Catalyst drivers to 12.1 would fix it. My driver is current [13.8]. It didn't fix mine. Supposedly, turning Crossfire off and running on a single card would fix it. It didn't. One thread said it was connected to a SKSE tweak but I'm not using the tweak. [as far as I know] Another said to change a setting in the INI file; didn't work. I haven't seen any comments about this being mod/conflict related to CharGen mods. Does anyone know if this problem exists with vanilla? When I played the vanilla version I was in first person. It wasn't until after I modded the game and wanted to see my character that I found the problem. Unchecking all my mods won't give me a true vanilla but I'm gonna start there. It sucks to spend hours modding the game into a visual paradise and your character walks around with their face flashing like a bad neon light. tampatip
I'm still having the same issue. Can we just remove the itint tweak, or do I have to disable Crossfire?
TonyTurbo78
I just deleted the line in the INI which solved my issue. I just run with; [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [NotPlacebo]GiveFirstBornToSheson=1 seems to work just fine, I get this in my skse_loader in mydocuments so the patch seems to work and I get no more flicker no more. skse loader 01060100 (steam) 01CF1ADC9404AFFA 6.2 (9200)base addr = 69510000GetSystemTimeAsFileTime IAT = 0106B1D8original GetSystemTimeAsFileTime = 755882C0patched GetSystemTimeAsFileTime = 695116F0GetStartupInfoA IAT = 0106B1D0original GetStartupInfoA = 7558B547patched GetStartupInfoA = 69511710InstallHook: thread = 4528 retaddr = 00F5673E hookSrc = 1appPath = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exedwSignature = FEEF04BDdwStrucVersion = 00010000dwFileVersionMS = 00010009dwFileVersionLS = 00200000dwProductVersionMS = 00010009dwProductVersionLS = 00200000dwFileFlagsMask = 00000017dwFileFlags = 00000000dwFileOS = 00000004dwFileType = 00000001dwFileSubtype = 00000000dwFileDateMS = 00000000dwFileDateLS = 00000000version = 0001000900200000steam exedll = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\skse_1_9_32.dllold winmain = 0069D1D0runtime root = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\config path = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\skse.iniSheson took your first born in exchange for more memoryOnHook: thread = 4528calling winmainreturned from winmain (0)

IAmDarkPhoenix
3 years later and the issue still persists. I just deleted the line from skse.ini and it stops the face flickering
SFC76
I know this is an old topic, but there is a workaround for this: Go to ATI settings and create a profile for TESV.exe (there is a default one, but you'll want to override that) In settings: Wait for Vertical Refresh -> On, unless application specifiesOpenGL Triple Buffering -> OnFrame Pacing -> OnCrossFireX Mode -> Optimize 1x1 Should get rid of the flicker whilst using tintmasks.. ..the reason I decided to post this is because I recently re-installed Oldrim LE and a bunch of mods and had the issue. Took me a while to figure it out again after not playing it for several years..
