hauzzer
If I set the Country field in my settings to Serbia and Montenegro or Suriname, the Country field in my profile will be set to "Serbia and Montenegro <newline> Suriname": http://i.imgur.com/x9wN66S.png Afterwards, whichever of the two I have chosen before, Suriname will be displayed as the country currently set in my settings: http://i.imgur.com/tEelZvt.png By the way, Serbia and Montegro doesn't exist for seven years now. Those two countries are independant of each other. I'm rather curious as from where's that list taken from, seeing that Yugoslavia is still in it. DrakeTheDragon
Bumping is not allowed and will only lead to a lock. Those settings are in no way maintained by the staff or the site devs. There's nothing they could do about it.It's an IP.Board-internal thing and will need another forums software upgrade for any changes to the country options to occur.I can't imagine IP.Board developers paying much attention to minor things like this though. hauzzer
Well, they could file a bug report to IP.Board. Not that I'm asking anyone to do that; I understand the situation completely. Anyway, all I wanted was a (semi) official response, and I did get one. The topic can be closed now. While writing this, I tried to file a bug report myself, but it seems that I'm not allowed to. Shame. Anyway, that would be all.
